I bet you thought this thing was defunct, huh?

This past weekend was the first ever Girls Bike NYC retreat and we headed out east, to the end of the world.
My first solo cycle tour - close to 400 miles over five days and I only had one meltdown!
This ride was advertised as “no push,” but I was doing 23 mph on the flats…
We now return to our regularly scheduled programming (after my regularly scheduled hiatus…)
That’s right, I DID IT. Brooklyn to Poughkeepsie, 107 miles.
Day Four: Brunswick, MD to Washington, DC to NYC
Day Three: Harpers Ferry to Shepherdstown, WV to Brunswick, MD
Day Two: Leesburg, VA to Harpers Ferry, WV
Day One: NYC to Washington, DC to Leesburg, VA
More gravel riding on my road bike, this time with Polly, Meredith, and Zoe!
We’re backkkkk!
Shout to my helpful homies: Joe from 718 Cyclery, Sheldon Brown, YouTube, the Chainbreaker Bike Book, and Redbeard Bikes.
Global warming means a busy winter riding season.
I came for the cable end caps. I stayed for the Alley Cat.
Reckoning with my rim brakes, my final ride of 2022 (GRAVEL?!), a goal recap (spoiler alert: I didn’t accomplish any of them), and my only goal for 2023.
WE DID IT! We made it through the 2022 season!
This post is less about bikes and more about Kaycie getting me to pose with a lot of things.
